Keisha Bell was born in Saint Petersburg and has continued to spend much of her life in the city she calls home. She is the daughter of public school educators, and early on they instilled in her the importance of an education. Keisha graduated from Dixie Hollins High School; the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology; and from Florida State University College of Law. Keisha is a licensed attorney with a diverse professional background in family, personal injury, and workers compensation law. Through her work she has been able to provide legal services to those most under-represented.

Keisha will fight for all citizens to have access to affordable healthcare. Health care is not, nor should it be thought of as, a luxury. Keisha will fight to expand Medicaid.

Unfortunately, many children throughout District 70 are struggling to succeed academically. Keisha believes every child deserves a quality education. Our public school teachers need higher pay and our public schools need adequate resources. State voucher spending is projected to equal $1 billion by 2020. Keisha will support programs in providing wrap-around services at local schools. She will fight to ensure that public schools are fully funded.
