Biography

Everything we hear in politics lately has been about "building from the middle out." That if we do it for those in the middle, everyone benefits. But really, it's the margins that should be our touchstone. It is only when we change the policies that are crushing folks who are marginalized, that everyone will truly win.

Someone needs to stand up and do that. Someone needs fight for the thousands in our district and the millions in our state who struggle with the questions and the weight of life in the margins. Someone needs to run on for us. Someone needs to make policy with our concerns at heart.
